sure that the inlet and outlet on the six-way valve are located towards the pump
(see the opening picture). Then attach it with a buckle and secure it with the screw
and the nut see. Figure 3.
WARNING: Closing the buckle must be done with care to avoid damage to parts of
the device or injury.
Complete the filtration installation by settling 3x hose spikes on the valve holes
and by screwing the connection hose onto the PUMP valve, and securing it with
a hose clamp on the pump.
Connecting the filter circuit – Figure 4
1. Skimmer circuit: Connect the skimmer to the pump.
2. Flexible hose: Connects the upper bore of the pump and the valve port marked
„PUMP".
3. Return hose: Connects the valve port marked „RETURN / POOL" and the passage
through the pool wall. Secure all connections with hose clips.
4. Waste hose: It leads from the „CANAL WASTE" hole to the waste pipe or to the
lawn. The connection is made by means of a hose to the pool and hose clips!
Connection without skimmer – top opening – hose from filtration into the pool;
bottom hole – hose from pool to filtration
CAUTION: When installing a solar panel, UV lamp, and a solanator into the filter
circuit it is necessary to connect this accessory only after filtration equipment such
as swimming pool – filtration – solar panel – swimming pool.
CAUTION: It is possible that finer particles appear at the beginning of the filter cyc-
le filter sand in the pool. This phenomenon is related to the quality of the supplied
sand and ends when the finer particles of sand are washed out of the filter. This is
not a filter defect units.
Initial operation
After filling the filter tank with sand filling, hose connection as described above and
total flooding, the initial rinsing process can be started to put the filter device into
operation. Turn the filter unit on and wait for the water to suck. When the pump
draws water, the rinsing process may be triggered. If necessary, repeat the process
(see Reverse flushing).
FILTRATION
WARNING: For safety reasons and to prevent flooding of the filtering device, care-
fully check all joints and seals for correct seating and sealing.
• Swimming pool water should flow through the pump over a period of 24 hours at
least 3–5 times, depending on system load and size. The time required depends on
the capacity of the filter device and the size of the pool. If the pool is used inten-
sively or when the pool is unusually heavy, it is necessary to extend the operating
time.
