age of the chain saw, the battery must be
removed and the saw chain guard must be
attached.
This appliance must only be stored in inte-
rior rooms.

Care and maintenance

You can sign with your dealer a contract for
regular safety inspection or even sign a
maintenance contract. Please take advice
on this matter.
Only approved original spare parts and
original accessories may be used in order
not to impair the safety of the device.
WARNING
Risk of injury! Remove the battery from the
device prior to working on the chain saw.
CAUTION
Risk of injury! Wear protective gloves and
safety goggles when working on the chain
saw.
– Allow chain saw to cool down.
– Check if the oil filler cap is closed.
– Free the chain saw from coarse dirt and
chips prior to opening it.

Maintenance Works

Cleaning the appliance
WARNING
Risk of damage! Use a moist cloth for
cleaning the device, never use a hose or
high-pressure water jet. Do not immerse
the device into water. Do not use solvent-
containing detergents.
 Free the saw chain, guide bar and mo-
tor casing from chips and dirt using a
brush.
 Take up oil residues by means of a
cloth.
 Clean the ventilation slits of the chain
saw by means of a brush.
