Press the Display button to hold the display at DE-HUMIDIFIER ON or OFF, TOTAL
NO. OF HOURS or INSTRUCTED HOURS when running. Pressing again will run the
display again.
3 PURGE (EMPTYING)
Press this button to get the emptying mechanism going before tilting the device. Water
will be emptied from the water container of the pump in this way to prevent leakage.
After switching off the device, with the plug inserted, wait for about 10 minutes so that
the entire remaining water can run into the pump's water container. Next, press EMPTY
to remove the remaining water. Emptying takes place automatically during operation
every six minutes and/or if the water container is full. The display indicates PUMP IS
EMPTYING during the emptying process.
4 CLEAR (DELETE)
First press the DISPLAY button to delete the INSTRUCTED HOURS, so that the
uninterrupted INSTRUCTION-H indicator appears on the display. Then press the
DELETE button to re-set the counter to 00000. PLEASE NOTE: The TOTAL HOURS
display cannot be set to 00000.
Automatic thawing (de-frosting on)
The display always shows DE-FROSTING ON when the device is running through a
de-frosting cycle. During normal operation, ice that forms on the lines is detected by the
temperature sensor and the de-frosting cycle is set into motion. The de-humidifying
process is interrupted while hot gas flows through the line and the ice melts. The
display returns to the normal indicator at the end of the de-frosting cycle.
Changing the language in the display
The standard language is English. Follow these steps to change to another language:
(1)Pull out the plug from the mains. (2)Keep the DISPLAY button pressed down while
connecting the device to the mains power supply. The display now shows "ENGLISH".
(3)Press the DISPLAY button or the DELETE button to change the display to FRENCH,
GERMAN or SPANISH. (4)Next, unplug the device from the mains again. The selected
language will then be saved.
CAUTION: DO NOT use any other buttons! By pressing other buttons while changing
the language mode, it is possible that the operating parameters of the device could
change.
