Programming
I/O Access Errors Within DP
If errors occur accessing existing modules without an obvious cause (error-free station), it
might be because the parameter assignment monitoring time has been set too short (see also
the information on the parameter assignment monitoring time in Section 2, Configuration).
I/O Access Using Word and Double Word Commands
If, in the case of I/O access via word and double-word commands, the first byte or the first one
to three bytes are present, but the rest of the addressed range is not, "0" is loaded in the
accumulator.
Example: The I/O is present In the S7-400H with the addresses 8 and 9; the addresses 10
and 11 are not used. The access LED 8 results in the value W#16#00000000 being loaded into
the accumulator.
Fewer Start Events for OBs 73 and 87
The operating system no longer triggers the events W#16#38DA and W#16#39DA (previously
start events for OB87) and W#16#72E0 and W#16#73E0 (previously start events for OB73).
OB73 therefore no longer has a function.
Using the SFC49 "LGC_GADR"
You are operating an S7-400 programmable controller in redundant mode. If you enter a logic
module address of a switched DP slave in the LADDR parameter when calling the SFC49, the
DP master system ID of the active channel is output in the high byte of the RACK parameter. If
no active channel exists, the DP master system ID of the associated DP master system of the
master CPU is output.
Calling the SFC51 "RDSYSST" with SZL_ID=W#16#0232 and
INDEX=W#16#0004
In contrast to the information in the Systemsoftware for S7-300 and S7-400, System and
Standard Functions reference manual, an H system outputs two data records, not only in
RUN-REDUNDANT operating mode, but also in solo mode and in separate operation.
However, only the data record which has a value 0 in the byte 0 of the word "index" is valid.
Calling the SFC51 "RDSYSST" Using SZL_ID=W#16#xy91
For the CPU 417-4H the data records for the following SSL partial lists cannot be read using
SFC51 "RDSYSST":
SZL_ID=W#16#0091, W#16#0191, W#16#0291, W#16#0391, W#16#0991, W#16#0E91
Execution Times of the SFC87 "C_DIAG"
The execution times of the SFC87 "C_DIAG" are missing in the current Instruction List on the
CPUs 412, 414, 416, 417. They are listed in the following table.
