What to do if...

Cause
– No connection between
measuring instrument and sensor
– Cable defective
– Sensor switched off
– pH sensitive area and/or junction
contaminated
– Zero adjustment erroneous
– Sensor not sufficiently watered
– Measuring tip depleted
– Temperature sensor defective
– Cable defective
Remedy
– Check connection between
measuring instrument and sensor
– Replace the sensor
– Switch on the sensor
– Clean the measuring tip (see
section 5.9)
– Carry out zero adjustment
– Watering the sensor
– Exchange the measuring tip (see
section 5.10)
– Exchange the measuring tip (see
section 5.10)
– Replace the sensor
– Exchange the measuring tip (see
section 5.10)
– Insert new batteries (see
section 3.2)
