5.11 Exchanging the batteries

The batteries are nearly empty if the battery LED flashes. Insert new batteries
as soon as possible. To do so, switch off the sensor and dry it as necessary.

Warning
To exchange the batteries, first unscrew the cap nut and disconnect the
measuring tip from the converter. Only then remove the converter enclosure.
Thus, you avoid malfunctions.
Always exchange both batteries at the same time.

5.12 Disposal

We recommend disposing of the sensor without the batteries as electronic
refuse.
This note refers to the battery regulation that applies in the Federal Republic
of Germany. We would ask end-consumers in other countries to follow their
local statutory provisions.

The SenTix FET-D/B sensor contains batteries.
Batteries that have been removed must only be disposed of at the recycling
facility set up for this purpose or via the retail outlet.
It is illegal to dispose of them in household refuse.
Disposal according to the safety data sheet.
