REMEMBER! When using the device, protect
children and other bystanders.

3.3 Personal safety

a)
Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can significantly impair the ability to operate the
device.
b)
When working with the device, use common sense
and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration whilst
using the device may lead to serious injuries.
c)
To prevent the device from accidentally switching on,
make sure the switch is on the OFF position before
connecting to a power source.
d)
Do not overestimate your abilities. When using the
device keep your balance and remain stable at all
times. This will ensure better control over the device
in unexpected situations.
3.4 Safe device use
a)
Do not overload the device. Use appropriate tools
for the given task. A correctly selected device will
perform the task for which it was designed better
and in a safer manner.
b)
Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and have to be repaired.
c)
Make sure the plug is disconnected from the
socket before attempting any adjustments, tool
replacements or before putting the device aside.
Such precautions will reduce the risk of accidentally
activating the device.
d)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
e)
Maintain the device in a good technical state. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
f)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
g)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
h)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
i)
When transporting and handling the device between
the warehouse and the destination, take into account
the occupational health and safety principles for
manual transport operations which apply in the
country where the device will be used.
j)
Avoid situations where the device halts during
use due to excessive loading. This may result in
overheating of the drive elements and device
damage.
k)
Do not touch articulated parts or accessories, unless
the device has been disconnected from a power
source.
l)
The drinks warmed up by the device can get very hot.
Adapt adequate protective measures.

4. USE GUIDELINES

4.1 Device description

Scope of application
The coffee maker is designed only for preparing coffee
using cold water.
The coffee maker should not be used for:
cooking soups or other drinks than coffee;
warming up liquids containing sugar, sweeteners,
acids, bases or alcohol;
warming up flammable, noxious, particularly volatile,
or any other toxic substances.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from non-
intended use of the device!

4.2 Preparing for use

Appliance location
The temperature of the environment must not be higher
than 40°C and the relative humidity should be less than
85%. Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the
device is used. The distance between the back of the
device and the wall should be at least 20 cm, the minimum
distance between the sides of the device and the walls
should be at least 10 cm on each side and 35 cm between
the top of the device and the ceiling. Keep the device away

from hot surfaces. Operate the device on flat, stable, clean,
refractory and dry surfaces out of the reach of children and
people with mental disabilities. Install the device making
sure that constant access to the main plug is ensured. The
power cord connected to the appliance must be properly
grounded and correspond to the technical details.
Before the first use, remove all elements and clean them
along with the entire device. The device is intended for
indoor use, and the ambient temperature should not
exceed the range from 1 to 40°C.
WARNING! Never immerse the appliance in water or pour
it with a stream of water. WARNING! Do not turn on the
empty device (without water). WARNING! Regularly clean
the device in order to prevent permanent settling of
impurities.
Installing the appliance
1.
Wash the entire device
2.
Place the device on a suitable surface away from the
edges.
3.
Fasten the basket support.
4.
Fasten the basket to the filter and the basket cover
on the support in the device.
5.
Cover the device container with the device cover.
6.
Fasten the devices on the support with a drip tray
(relates only to RCKM-WOF6)

7.
Connect the device to the power supply.
After completing these activities, the device is ready for use.

4.3 Device use

Warning! The housing of the device becomes very hot
during its use. Do not touch the hot parts of the device

until it has been disconnected from the power supply
and has cooled down.
In case of brewing coffee, fill the machine at least
half of its total capacity
The device is best suited for brewing coarsely
ground coffee.
If a different type of coffee is used, a paper filter is
required.
1.
Fill the tank with cold water with a quantity that is
needed (not more than the MAX level of the device).
2.
Place the ground coffee in the filter basket. (about 6
grams per cup of coffee).
3.
Close the filter basket tightly, fixing the filter cover.
4.
Place the basket support and the filter basket in the
tank. Make sure that the basket support is located
firmly in the base recess.
5.
Mount the top cover of the device.
6.
Turn on the device.
When the coffee is ready for consumption, the green
indicator will light up and the temperature in the
device will be kept automatically at the constant
level.
7.
When the coffee machine is not visible through the
glass filling indicator, it is necessary to turn off the
device using the on / off button and to disconnect
the appliance from the power supply.
8.
In order to heat the coffee again, it is necessary to
remove the basket support and the filter basket from
the inside of the device, and then to connect the
device to the power supply and switch on the device
with the on/off button. There must be a sufficient
amount of coffee in the device – it must be visible
through the fill indicator glass of the device.

Water heating for instant drinks.
The device can be used to heat water for instant drinks.
1.
Fill the device with cold water to the required level
and place the basket support and the empty basket
in such a position as for making coffee.
2.
Connect the device to the power supply and switch it
on using the on / off button.
3.
Switch off the device and disconnect it from the
power supply when 300 ml of water remains in it
or the water will not be visible through the glass fill
indicator of the device.
The device is intended for heating only water (or water
with coffee). It must be washed completely after each use.
It is recommended to wash it once a week with vinegar. If
residues are not removed, pits can occur which will lead to
damage to the device. It is necessary to get acquainted with
the instructions for cleaning and maintaining the device.
Please note! The device features overheating detector. It
will activate when water evaporates or when water level is
below the allowable level and the device is still on. If this
happens a protection will trip and switch the device off.
In such a case wait until the device cools down then drain
water from the tank, turn the device 180° (upside down)
and press the reset button (located under the base of the
device). Now the device can be used again.

4.4 Cleaning and maintenance

Cleaning after each use:
Disconnect
from
electricity
when
cleaning
equipment.
Take out the filter basket and the support of the
basket from the tank. This will allow the rest of the
coffee to dry, which will facilitate cleaning the device.
Rinse the filter basket, filter cover and basket support
with water.
Rinse the inside of the device tank until it is visibly
clean.
Dry all parts well after cleaning before the device is
used again.
After performing these activities, the device is ready for
reuse.
Periodic maintenance (depending on the frequency of use,
e.g. once a week):
Clean the entire device with a non-abrasive, mild
detergent, and then wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
The device will not work properly if a stone is deposited
in the bottom of the device tank or in the recess in its
bottom. The stone must be removed if necessary.
The inside of the glass fill indicator of the device
and the basket support can be cleaned with a pipe
cleaning brush. Do not disassemble the glass cover.
In order to clean the tap of the device it is necessary
to unscrew its handle. Clean with a brush, moving
it up and down inside the tap, then repeat the
treatment from the inside of the device. Wash the
handle in hot soapy water and rinse.
Do not use baking soda to clean the device because
it can cause discoloration or damage to the metal.
Store the unit in a dry, cool location, free from
moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
The device should be stored in a place with
a temperature above 0°C
In the event of a frost hazard, it is necessary to
empty, clean and dry the device.
