3 . S T E P : S W I T C H I N G T H E A P P L I A N C E O N

Press the „On/Off"-button on the
control element, the appliance is
switched on. The display will state
„1".
•
If you now press the
can change the temperature setting.
Every press of the button will increase
the number. Settings between 1 and
6 are possible. The corresponding
number will show up in the display.
The higher the number, the warmer
the appliance will become. After the
„6", the „1" will show up in the dis-
play.
CAUTION: The electronic components in the con-
trol element cause the control element to slightly
warm up while using the thermo belt. Therefore,
the control element must never lie on the appli-
ance, be covered by blankets, cushions or the like,
also, you must not place anything or even sit or lay
down on it.
•
Please note: Only after approx. 15 minutes does the thermo belt reach the set
temperature. Therefore, check if the temperature is pleasant for you after these
15 minutes with the back of your hand.
•
Caution: Prolonged use on the highest temperature setting (6) can cause burns
on sensitive skin.
•
After approx. 1,5 hours of permanent use, the appliance will automatically switch
off for your safety, the control light „Auto-off" will permanently illuminate.
•
Pressing the „On/Off"-button again will allow you to restart the appliance. How-
ever, you should let the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes in a
switched-off state before starting it again.
