D. Charging the battery using the battery clamps
Connect the battery clamps to the battery charger by following this manual
(B. Connecting the battery charger). The battery clamps are color-coded. Red is positive;
black is negative. Clamp them directly to the corresponding connectors on the battery
terminals.

Charge Mode and the Charged LED / Floating LED
In this mode, the charger monitors the battery voltage and charges as necessary to
assure the battery maintains full capacity.
The charger remains in Float Charge Mode as long as the charger is connected to
the battery and is plugged into a functioning AC mains socket.
Notes: If the battery clamps are connected incorrectly with regard to polarity or if the
charger detects a problem with the battery, the Reverse Polarity / Fault LED
light up red.
If the polarity is wrong, disconnect the charger's AC plug from the AC mains socket; then
disconnect the clamps. Reconnect the clamps with correct polarity and plug the charger
back in at the AC mains socket. Then select the correct operation mode.
If the Battery Charging LED did not come on, check the connection to the battery. If the
clamps are properly connected, the battery may be in fault condition. Manufacturer
suggests to have the battery tested by a qualified battery service technician.
Attention, at the beginning and during the charge, some auto test will be run by the
charger. If a problem is detected, the charging process will stop.
When disconnecting the charger, do so in the following order: Disconnect the AC mains
plug from the AC mains socket, and then disconnect the battery clamps from the battery
terminal.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
A. Cleaning
WARNING ! . Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner. Do not immerse the
appliance in water.
Before clearing, the appliance must be switched off, unplugged from main socket and
already cooled down.
From time to time, wipe the appliance with a dry and soft cloth.
B. Maintenance
No maintenance is necessary. The equipment is only to be repaired by qualified specialists.
C. Storage
Always store your product in a fresh and dry room, away from humidity. To avoid any
accident, make sure children can't reach it.
