Prior to First Use

Please check the content immediately upon receipt for completeness. Check the
following content list. Inform you dealer if items are missing or not working pro-
perly.

Hints
For best performance and longevity, please pay attention to the following advices.
w Please do not open the casing of the TeCom-DB. Improper opening could cause
damages. In addition, warranty claims will be forfeited.
w No modifications are permitted with this radio.
w Repairs are to be performed by an authorized service technician.
w For charging of the battery pack, use only the charging cable included or the
optional charger SLG-TeCom-CB-C-H.
w Never expose the radio to direct sunlight or sources of heat. High temperatures
will reduce the functionality of certain electronic parts, melting could appear.
w Do not store the radio in dusty or dirty rooms.
w Do not expose the radio to liquid, corrosion of electronic parts will be the result.
w Should the radio get extraordinarily hot or if any smoke or unusual fume is
present, turn off the radio immediately and remove the battery pack. Please
contact your dealer.
w Never transmit without antenna. Damages of the power amplifier are likely.
w Do not operate the radio in the proximity of explosion-prone areas, e.g. gas
stations. Turn the radio off.
w Keep the radio out of reach of children.
