15.1.2. Exclusion of warranty

No warranty shall be assumed for failure and damage caused by external influences,
accidental harm, incorrect use, modifications, alterations or additions to the prod-
uct, use of third-party parts, neglect, viruses, software errors, inappropriate trans-
port, inappropriate packaging, or loss of the product on its return.
The warranty shall be null and void if the fault on the product has been caused by
maintenance or repair carried out by someone other than a service partner author-
ised by the guarantor. The warranty shall also be null and void if the stickers or seri-
al numbers on the product or on a component of the product have been altered or
rendered illegible.
15.1.3. Service hotline
Before sending in the product to the guarantor, you must contact us via the service
hotline or the service portal. You will then be given information as to how you can
make a claim on the warranty.
A charge may be made for the use of the hotline.
Under no circumstances is the service hotline a substitute for training users on the
use of software or hardware, for consulting the handbook or for servicing third-par-
ty products.
15.2. Special warranty terms for on-site repairs and
on-site replacements
If claims can be made under the product warranty for on-site repair or on-site re-
placement, the special warranty terms for on-site repair or on-site replacement of
the product shall apply.
The following requirements must be met in order for repairs or replacements to be
carried out on your site:
Employees of the guarantor who arrive on the site for the aforementioned pur-
pose must have unrestricted, safe and immediate access to the relevant equip-
ment.
Telecommunications equipment needed by these employees in order to carry
out their job properly and for testing, diagnosis and fault repair purposes must
be provided by you at your expense.
You acknowledge your responsibility for restoring your own system software af-
ter using the services provided by the guarantor.
You acknowledge your responsibility for configuring and connecting any exist-
ing external devices after using the services provided by the guarantor.
An on-site repair or on-site replacement may be called off free of cancellation
charges subject to a minimum of 48 hours' notice. If you fail to meet this dead-
line or fail to notify us at all, you will be invoiced for the costs incurred by us due
to the late or non-existent notice of cancellation.
