Connecting to the gas supply

A
NOTICE!
 This device may only be connected to the gas supply by a
specialist in accordance with the applicable guidelines and
standards.
 Use only propane or butane gas cylinders (no natural gas or
town gas) with an inspected pressure relief valve and suitable
head piece. Compare the pressure information on the type
plate with the pressure information on the pressure regulator
on the propane or butane gas cylinder.
 The device may only be operated at the pressure specified on
the type plate.
 Please observe the pressure levels permitted in your country.
Use a DIN-DVGW-approved pressure regulator with perma-
nent settings:
– For Germany: DIN EN 12864.
– For Europe: EN 732 And EN 1949.
I
NOTE
The refrigerator is equipped for a connection pressure of 30 mbar.
If connecting the device to a 50 mbar system, use the Truma
pre-pressure control VDR 50/30.
It must be possible to shut off the refrigerator separately with a shut-off
feature in the gas line. The shut-off feature must be easily accessible.
➤ Connect the refrigerator to the gas supply as shown in fig. r, page 9, in
a fixed and tension-free manner.
For Europe: Use a cutting ring fitting in line with DIN EN 1949.
A hose connection is not permitted.
➤ After professional installation, have a leak test and flame test in line with
EN 1949 performed by an authorised specialist.
Have the performance of this test documented.
