Precautions regarding the Lithium battery

1. The lithium battery maintains the clock function and user settings;
even if the battery pack or AC adapter is removed.
2. The lithium battery for the camcorder lasts about 6 months under
normal operation from time of installation.
3. When the lithium battery becomes weak or dead, the date/time
indicator will display "---" when you set the DATE/TIME to ON.
In this case, replace the lithium battery with a new one(type
CR2025).
4. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
Warning: Keep the LITHIUM BATTERY out of reach of children.
Should a battery be swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately.

Sicherheitshinweise zur Lithiumbatterie

1. Die Lithiumbatterie dient zur Sicherung von Datum, Uhrzeit und
anderen Benutzereinstellungen, wenn der Camcorder weder vom
Netz noch vom Akku mit Strom versorgt wird.
2. Die Lithiumbatterie hat bei normalem Betrieb eine Lebensdauer
von ca. sechs Monaten (vom Zeitpunkt des Einsetzens).
3. Wenn die Lithiumbatterie fast verbraucht ist, wird anstelle von
Datum und Uhrzeit "---" angezeigt, wenn Sie die Funktion
DATE/TIME aktivieren (Einstellung ON).
Setzen Sie in diesem Fall eine neue Lithiumbatterie vom Typ
CR2025 ein.
4. Bei falscher Handhabung kann die Lithiumbatterie explodieren!
Ersetzen Sie die Batterie nur durch eine Batterie des gleichen oder
eines vergleichbaren Typs.
Achtung: Lithiumbatterien außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern aufbewahren! Falls eine Batterie verschluckt
wird, wenden Sie sich sofort an einen Arzt.
