Adjustment ot compensation circuit
The "ConferetteC 2-)" containsa compensatlon circuit

degreeof compensation maybe adJusted with potentio-
meter PU(fig.2) accordingto the mainapplicatlon.
Adjustment: Potentiometer f ully anticlockwise:
for application as hearingamplifier.
Potentiometer f ully clockwise:
if C 2-) is exclusively usedfor hearingand
speechpractice.
B. Operating the unit
1. Insertthe rechargeable batteryplug@Intothe unit
Observe the Instructlons for useon the red label.
2. Selectthe modewith switch(iJ "0" position:unit is
switchedoff. "MIC"position:microphones switchedon,
infrared receiversectionswitchedoff. "IR+ MIC"
position:infrared receiversectionis switchedon and
mlcrophones are switchedon viathresholdsetting.
3. Placethe earpieces in the earsas shownIn Fig.l.
4. AdjustcontralCD for the desIredvalue.If only hissing
noiseis heardwhenthe Infraredmodehas beenselec-
ted ("IR+ MIC"), t he infraredtransmitteris not yet in

unit in sucha way that the lensISalwaysdirected
