4. If you have selected the 10 MHz measuring range, set the input sensitivity
selector (14) either to "High" or „Low", depending on the expected input level
(see technical data).

"Fast" or "Slow", corresponding to the table at the end of this manual.
6. Now press „ON". The display will run a self test and then show, depending
on measuring range and sensitivity, show either "0" or several random
numbers.
7. Now connect the measured item to its power supply. Now the measured
frequency is displayed. The units in the 100/2500 MHz range are MHz. The
units in the 10 MHz range are Hz. The gate indicator (2) will flash once for
every completed measuring cycle.
Please Notice!
If you have selected the "Slow" position of the gate time selector (12), touching
the „RESO." (8) 3 times results in three kinds of sampling time and resolution
combinations. These are listed in detail in the table "Resolution and Sampling
Time" at the end of this manual.
Overload
If the input value exceeds the maximum value in the selected measuring
range, the overflow message ---OL--- appears in the display and a warning
sound is heard. In this case select the appropriate measuring range.
