The manufacturer shall not be liable for any changes
made to the machine nor for any damage resulting
from such changes.
Even when the machine is used as prescribed it is
still impossible to eliminate certain residual risk
factors.
The following hazards may arise in connection with
the machineʼs design and construction:
Hazard due to machine defects:
n
If one or more parts of the machine are
defective, the use of the machine is prohibited.
Defective parts must be replaced immediately.
Only replacement parts which have been
approved by the manufacturer may be used. It is
prohibited to make any changes to the machine.
Hazard due to electric shock:
n
Only operate the machine at a power source
which is protected by a residual-current circuit
breaker with a residual current of 30 mA!
Socket-outlets must be properly installed,
earthed and tested!
Hazard due to unintentional start-up of the
n
machine: The power plug must be removed from
the socket-outlet before emptying the sawdust
bag and also when the machine is not in use!
Hazard due to wood dust: The inhalation of wood
n
dust is a health hazard! Always wear a protective
dust mask when emptying the debris bag. When
disposing of sawdust waste, make sure you do
so in an environmentally-friendly fashion!
Fire hazard: Never use the machine to extract
n
hot objects!
Damage to hearing if ear-muffs are not used as

The quoted values are emission values and not
necessarily reliable workplace values. Although there
is a correlation between emission and immission
levels it is impossible to draw any certain conclusions
as to the need for additional precautions. Factors
with a potential influence on the actual immission
level at the workplace include the duration of impact,
the type of room, and other sources of noise etc.,
e.g. the number of machines and other neighboring
operations. Reliable workplace values may also vary
from country to country. With this information the
user should at least be able to make a better
assessment of the dangers and risks involved.
Wear ear-muffs.
The impact of noise can cause damage to hearing.
Keep the noise emissions and vibrations to a
minimum.
Only use appliances which are in perfect working
n
order.
Service and clean the appliance regularly.
n
Adapt your working style to suit the appliance.
