Motor and Electrical Requirements
CAUTION: Use a proper circuit protection to reduce the risk of electric shock, fire or damage to the tool. The
tool is designed to be operated in the above mentioned voltages. Connect the tool to power circuit with the
correct voltage and connect a 16 amp branch lead. Use a delay-action 16 amp fuse or a safety switch. If the
cable is worn, cut or damaged in any way it should be immediately replaced to reduce the risk of fire and
electric shock.

Electrical Connections

The plug must be plugged into a matching outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all
local codes and ordinances. Do not modify the plug provided. If it will not fit the outlet, have the proper outlet
installed by a qualified electrician.
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. The conductor with
insulation having an outer surface that is green with or without yellow stripes is the equipment-grounding conductor. If
repair or replacement of the electric cord or plug is necessary, do not connect the equipment-grounding conductor to a
live terminal.
The device possesses a voltage range which can pose an electrical hazard to humans and animals. It should only be ope-
ned and/or disassembled by authorised persons.
If the cable is worn, cut or damaged in any way it should be immediately replaced by a qualified electrician. If
the instructions on earthing are not clear or if in doubt, this should be checked by a qualified electrician or by
the STORCH service station.
Ensure that you do not touch the connections of the plug when plugging in and unplugging the tool, so as to prevent injury
or a potentially fatal electric shock.
If not properly earthed this tool can cause an electric shock especially if used in damp conditions, near pipes or
outside. An electric shock can also cause secondary dangers, e.g. if the operator is touching the mixer.
