GEAR ENGAGEMENT
Mowers have a 7 speed gear box (4 forward
and 3 reverse).
These are selected with handle 7 and lever
10 (Fig. 2).
Use handle 7 to select the gears and handle
10 to select the travel direction, as indicated
in the label in Fig. 6.
N.B.: The engagement of the gears should
always be preceded by the disengagement of
the clutch.
Avoid a protracted clutch disengagement in
order to limit the wear of the thrust bearing.

POWER TAKE-OFF

All models are equipped with n° 1 independent
PTO at 973 rpm - (profile 20 x17 DIN 5482).
Use lever N° 8 (Fig. 2) to engage PTO of
Mowers 140-141.
N.B.: Always use the clutch lever when
wanting to engage or disengage the PTO.
The PTO rotation is clockwise for all gear
directions.

DIFFERENTIAL LOCK

(Mower 141 - Fig. 7)
The differential locking is obtained by means
of lever 3 (Fig. 2) which is placed on the right
hand side of the handlebar.
N.B.: The locking device can be engaged
whilst motor cultivator is running, on condition
that wheels do not skid.
If so, disengage the clutch, engage the lock
and slowly release the clutch.
ATTENTION - Never use the differential
lock on a bend.
HANDLEBARS (Fig. 8)
Adjustment in height (vertical sense) allows 7
positions, obtained with lever N° 6.

UNLOCKING CUTTER BAR

(Fig. 8)
Mowers are equipped with a Quickfit that
allows an easy and quick coupling of
implements.
With engine still and machine in horizontal
position, pull lever 11 (placed on the left hand
side of handle bar) and remove the machine
from the cutter bar (or from other implement).
To connect the cutter bar repeat the same
operations but in reverse sense.
N.B.: Make sure the shutter is inserted
completely.
