Connect the cable eyes from the four brown wires in the 12-wire and 9-wire wiring harnesses to the
vehicle earthing point next to the opening in the body in the right corner of the luggage compartment
floor.
Route the remaining wire ends of the 9-wire wiring harness on the right side of the vehicle along the
vehicle's wiring harness to the front into the right footwell and then use the supplied 143mm cable
ties to secure in place.
Route the wire ends red with 4x potential distributor, red / white, red / blue, red / purple, red /
yellow and black / green of the 9-wire wiring harness to the fuse holder on the right front face of the
dash panel and insert in the respective unoccupied fuse slots F5 to F8 and F42 on the output side
according to Table 2 and lock in place.

Insert the end of the red wire with the potential distributor 4x 4.8mm in the input side of the
fuse slots F5 to F8 and lock in place.
Close the secondary interlock of the fuse holder and insert the supplied flat pin fuses into the
respective fuse slots as shown in Table 2.
Route the orange / green, orange / brown and black / red wire ends of the 9-wire wiring harness up
to the BCM2 (Body Control Module 2) next to the steering column.
Unlock the grey plug-in housing on BCM2 and pull the white multipoint connector from the housing
casing. First remove the cable ties at the cable outlet of the connector housing.
Push out the socket contact of the vehicle's black / red wire from chamber 2 and insert it into
chamber 2 of the supplied 3-way black socket housing and click into place.
Insert the socket contact of the black/red wire end of the 9-wire wiring harness into the now free
chamber 2 and click into place. Reinsert the connector strip back into the housing casing, lock into
place and then use a 143mm cable tie to secure them.
Unlock the black plug-in housing on BCM2 and pull the white multipoint connector from the housing
casing. First remove the cable ties at the cable outlet of the connector housing.
Push the socket contact on the vehicle's orange / green wire out of chamber 19 and insert it into
chamber 3 of the supplied 4-way brown socket housing and click into place.
Push the socket contact on the vehicle's orange/brown wire out of chamber 20 and insert it into
chamber 4 of the 4-way brown socket housing and click into place.
Insert the socket contacts at the orange / green and orange/brown wire ends of the 9-wire wiring
harness into the now free chamber 19 (orange / green) and chamber 20 (orange / brown) and
then click them into place. Reinsert the connector strip back into the housing casing, lock into place
and then use a 143mm cable tie to secure them.
Plug both plug-in housings (grey and black) back onto BCM2 and lock in position.
Plug the 3-way black and 4-way brown pin housing of the wiring harness into the previously fitted 3-
way black and 4-way brown socket housings, click into place and then use a 143mm cable tie to
secure them to the vehicle's wiring harness.
