Congratulations on purchasing this Klarstein eqipment. Please read this manual carefully and take
care of the following hints on installation and use to avoid technical damages. Any failure caused by
ignoring the mentioned items and cautions mentioned in the operation and installation instructions
are not covered by our warranty and any liability.

Power supply
• Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance
corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and DO NOT
use the kettle.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use or pouring water in the vessel. When not in use please clean
the device. Make sure the device is completely cool before cleaning.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of the table or counter or touch hot surface.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, power base and kettle in water or
other liquid.
• Ensure that the kettle is used on a fi rm and fl at surface where the children can't touch.
• This appliance is for boiling water only. Don't use it for milk, coff ee or tea, etc. When boiling, re-
member keeping the water level between MIN and MAX.
• Do not touch hot surface. Use handle or knobs only.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions. Re-
turn the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair or adjustment.
• Do not let children play with this product. While using, please look after children to prevent any
accidents.
• Be careful when opening the lid for refi lling when the kettle is hot.
• The kettle is for household use only.

Use and Operation

Standby
Insert the plug into the power source. The digital dis-
play shows 888, then a "beep" sound will be heard
and the current temperature will be displayed.
Power Switch
Click the power switch (1), the digital display shows
the current temperature of the water. Then the ap-
pliance starts boiling, until it heated to 100°C. When
heated to 100°C it turns off automatically (looks like
fl owing water light eff ect).
