• Remove the ball bearings (F - Fig. 35).
• Carefully clean the components, grease the ball bearings and proceed to refit
the system performing disassembly operations in reverse order.
Attention
When inserting the axle, be careful not to move the ball bearings out of their
seats.
• Fit the axle (D - Fig. 31 - Page 19) in the hub body, reposition the wheel in
the Campagnolo ® tool UT-HU020 and clamp in the vice; tighten the cone (C -
Fig. 31 - Page 19) on the axle, slide on the washer (B - Fig. 31 - Page 19) and
then tighten the counter-cone (A - Fig. 31 - Pag. 19).
Hub adjustment
• Tighten the LH counter-cone (A - Fig. 31 - Pag. 19) with the 13 mm cone wrench, countering the rotation of the axle with another 13 mm cone
wrench fully inserted on the LH cone (C - Fig. 31 - Pag. 19).
• Make sure that the hub body can rotate freely and without play, otherwise loosen the counter-cone and repeat the adjustment.
