3.5.4 Alarm situation

The wind speed alarm will be sounded when
the set value is exceeded. This can be either
the apparent wind speed (APP) or the true
wind speed (TRUE) depending on the way the
instrument has been set.
The alarm uses the average wind speed as ref-
erence (see 'Damping' Section 3.5.5). If an
alarm is required for every gust the damping
must be set to 0.
The buzzer will
sound and RESET
and the momentary
value of the wind
speed will flash.
The alarm can be
suppressed by
pressing the LIGHT
(RESET) button.
After this it will always be at least 1 minute
before the alarm can sound again.
