Problem
The viewing image is not circular.
Image is blurred

Cause
a. Your pupil is not in line with the exit
pupil of the eyepiece.
b. The eyecup setting not correct for
use with/without glasses.
Diopter setting incorrect
a. Minimum/maximum measuring
range exceeded
b. Insufficient object reflectivity
c. Insufficient ambient conditions
(visibility, etc.)
Battery exhausted
A memory card error has occurred
Remedy
a. Adjust eye-to-eyepiece alignment
b. Correct the setting: Eye glasses
users fold back the eyecup; the
eyecup remains folded out for users
without eye glasses.
Repeat diopter compensation procedure
Observe specified measuring range
limits
Replace the battery
Check if
– the memory card functions correctly
– the data stored on the memory card
is intact
