The baffle and the baffle plate are supplied separately and
should be fitted into the heater as indicated in fig. 6 and
fig. 7. Use the adjustment jig provided (fig. 5) to adjust the
baffle to the right size. Once it has been adjusted, fix the
damper in place with the socket-head screw.
(*) NB:The maximum length of vertical pipe is 12 metres.
(**) NB: the maximum length of horizontal pipe must not be exceeded.
Fig. 4 illustrates how to calculate the total lengths of pipe.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
To adjust the airflow regulator, first remove the vermiculite
tray, (fig. 7).
The airflow regulator can be adjusted to 2 mm using the
fork of the template.
Fit the baffle plate: the baffle plate can be hooked into the
vermiculite tray if necessary, as shown in fig. 7.

Connecting the Gas Supply

With the appliance a 40 cm flexible stainless steel gas hose
with G3/8" nipple joint has been supplied to
facilitate quick and easy installation. An approved
connecting tap with coupling should be used in the supply
hose (In Belgium this must be B.G.V. approved).
Furthermore:
• Expel all air from the supply pipes/hoses before coupling
to the appliance.
• Do not turn the coupling tap when connecting it to the
gas supply.
• Avoid any pressure on the control tap and pipes.
• Check that all connections are gastight.

Spark plug wire

During production the spark plug wire is rolled up, as it is
1200 mm long. After installation, insulate the spark plug
wire to avoid leaks or the ignition not working properly.
