7. Start

1. Open the fuel tap. (see fig. 1 pos. 2)
- Vertical position is open
- Horizontal position is closed.
2. Active the choke. (See fig 1 pos 1)
- Turn the choke to the right.
- If the engine is already warm it is not necessary to use the choke.
3. Turn the engines gas control completely to the right, thereby full gas is applied.
(If the engine is mounted on a machine with cable-regulated gas, full gas is
given).
4. Turn the machines ignition switch to the "ON" position. (See fig 1 pos 3)
5. Pull the engine's starting cord slowly until you feel resistance. Then pull in one
long draw. Never let the starting cord run back by itself, always follow it with your
hand.
6. Regulate the choke until the engine is running evenly.

8. Stop

1. Turn the gas control to a "low" position and let the engine run for a while.
2. Turn off the machine on the ignition switch.
3. Turn the fuel tap to the "off" position.
