• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regula-
tions of the Employerís Liability Insurance Association for
Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be
observed.
• The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or
heat sources are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls
from low heights and pressure can damage the device.
• f you have doubts about how the equipment should be operat-
ed or how to safely connect it, consult a trained technician.
• Live components may be exposed, if the covers are opened
or parts removed (unless this can be done without tools).
Connection points may also be live. If the appliance needs to
be opened for calibration, servicing, repair or to replace parts
or circuit boards, it must be disconnected first from all
sources of current . If servicing or internal repairs are neces-
sary, this must be carried out by a specialist who is familiar
with the risks involved and with the relevant regulations.
• Capacitors in the device may still be charged, even if the
device has been disconnected from all power supplies.
• Never be plug in or remove the plug of the power cable with
wet hands. This of course applies to the power supply unit,
too.
• Never pull on the power cable; only unplug it at the power
socket by pulling on the casing.
• When installing the device, make sure the connection cables
are not squeezed or damaged by sharp objects.
• Disconnect the device from the mains supply when it is not to
be used for a while.
• The monitor's stationary mounting base can be attached by
using the three fixing holes on the bottom. Make sure that
cables or wires are not damaged when drilling or bolting in
place.
