3. Programming
The DIP switches on the connection PCB are
for coding the BUS-1 user adress.
The individual codes and the user name are
listed in the programming protocol of the
intrusion detection central unit.

The BUS-1 connection lead from the central control unit to the module must be a shielded lead.
Refer to the installation manual of the intrusion detection central unit (Chapter on lines).
The shielding connection should be kept as short as possible to avoid the risk of an unintentional
short circuit.
Note
BUS-1 connection technology operates without end of line resistor. This means that no end of
line resistor may be installed at the last user of the BUS-1 line or a stub line.
