10. Handling
Never turn the PC speaker system on immediately after it is brought from a cold into
a warm room. Condensation water that forms may destroy the PC speaker system
under unfavourable conditions.
Leave the entire PC speaker system switched off and wait until it has reached
room temperature. This may take several hours.
Make sure not to damage or destroy the insulation of the entire product.
Do not tug the cord when pulling the mains plug!
When opening covers and/or removing components (e.g. housing cover) you could
expose live parts. Terminals, too, may be energised. Before connecting the PC
speaker set, performing maintenance work or repairs or replacing components or
modules, the product must be disconnected from the mains supply and all other
connections. Maintenance work or repairs of the PC speaker system may only be
performed by a QUALIFIED person who is familiar with the hazards involved and the
relevant regulations (VDE-0100, VDE-0683, VDE-0701).
Before each usage check the product for damages!
If you detect damages, you must NOT connect the product to the
mains voltage! Lethal Danger!
If you are not using the PC speaker system for some time, turn it off via the power
switch of the control unit.
Operation is only permitted in dry indoor rooms.
Avoid the following unfavourable ambient conditions at the mounting location or dur-
ing transport:
- Moisture or too high air humidity
- Extremely cold or hot temperatures
- Dust or combustible gases, fumes or solvents
- strong vibrations
- strong magnetic fields as exist in the vicinity of machines or other speakers.

6. Description de l'écran et des leds du
boîtier de commande
1. Ecran
Les trois chiffres indiquent le mode de fonctionnement actuel:
321 = mode 5.1 (Dolby Digital)
200 = mode stéréo
2. "%"
Ce symbole s'affiche lorsque le mode "Dynamic ajustement function" (ajustement
dynamique de fonction) est activé.
3. "ms"
Ce symbole s'affiche lors du réglage de "C_Delay" ou "S_Delay" au moyen de la
télécommande.
4. "db"
Ce symbole s'allume lors du réglage du volume et lorsque la fonction "Trim" est
sélectionnée.
5. Symboles de haut-parleurs
En fonction du mode sélectionné (par ex. 321, 200, voir ci-dessus), les symboles
des haut-parleurs correspondants (L, R, LS, RS, C, SUB) s'allument.
6. "LOCK"
Si l'ensemble de haut-parleurs détecte le signal d'entrée ainsi que le mode audio,
le symbole "LOCK" s'allume.
7. "LINE"
Cette led s'allume si un signal audio est arrivé à l'entrée Line.
8. "OPTICAL"
Cette led s'allume si un signal audio est arrivé à l'entrée optique numérique.
9. "COAXIAL"
Cette led s'allume si un signal audio est arrivé à la prise coaxiale pour signaux
numériques (SPDIF).
