Siphon some solar fluid into the enclosed glass via the em-
ptying valve.Then shortly dip a test stripe into the fluid. By
comparing the colour of the test stripe with the scale on
the box the pH value can be determined.The value should
not underrun 7,0. Note: If the fluid has a dark colour or
is hazy, the system should be emptyed and cleaned with
water immediataly.After that the system should be refilled
with solar fluid.
The screwdriver is an esential tool for servicing your solar
system. For example it can be used to check if electronic
devices (e.g. controller) are under voltage.
Primary pressure control expansion vessel.
The primary pressure can be measured with this device.

The measuring range is between 0 and 6 bar. The normal
primary preassure of vessels in the heating sector is around
1,5 bar and in solar systems between 2,5 and 3 bar.
An exact adjustment of the pressure acording to the di-
mensioning of the system is necessary.
This device can also be used to measure the pressure of
tires. Before using the device make sure that the pointer
is on the „0,5 bar" position. If this isn´t the case press the
button „A" to callibrate the device.
