Cleaning/Storage
CAUTION
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from
the power supply.
To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance,
ensure that no moisture gets into it or the 12 V
socket 4 during cleaning.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or
other liquids!
Clean the housing of the appliance only using a
lightly moistened cloth and a mild detergent. Wipe
off any detergent residue using a cloth moistened
with clean water only.
This appliance should not be cleaned in a dishwasher.
If you decide not to use the appliance for a long
period, disconnect it from the power source and
store it in a clean, dry place away from direct
sunlight.
Disposal
The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out
wheelie bin means that this appliance is
subject to Directive 2012/19/EU.
This directive states that this device may not be disposed
of in normal household waste at the end of its usable
life, but must be handed over to specially set-up
collection locations, recycling depots or disposal
companies.
This disposal is free of charge for the user.
Protect the environment and dispose of
this device properly.
You can obtain further information from your local
disposal company or the city or local authority.
Warranty
You are provided a 3-year warranty on this appliance,
valid from the date of purchase. This device has been
manufactured with care and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
In the event of a warranty claim, please contact your
Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only
way to guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
The warranty only covers claims for material
and manufacturing defects, not for transport
damage, worn parts or damage to fragile
components such as buttons or batteries.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling,
use of force and interventions which have not been
carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eff ect-
ed under the warranty. This also applies to replaced
and repaired components.

ing instructions are part of this product. They contain
important information on safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with
all handling and safety guidelines. Use the product
only as described and for the range of applications
specifi ed. Keep these operating instructions in a safe
place. Please also pass these operating instructions
on to any future owner(s).
Intended use
This product is designed to keep drinks and soups
warm or cold inside or outside motor vehicles. This
product is not intended for commercial or industrial
use. The warranty does not apply to damage caused
by improper use of the appliance!

Safety guidelines
This appliance may be used by children
aged 8 years or over if they are super-
vised or have been told how to use the
appliance safely and are aware of
the potential risks. Cleaning and user
maintenance tasks must not be carried
out by children unless they are aged
8 years or more and are supervised.
The appliance and its connecting cable
must be kept away from children young-
er than 8 years old.
This appliance may be used by persons
with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they are under
supervision or have been told how to use
the appliance safely and are aware of
the potential risks.
Children must not use the appliance as
a plaything.

Any damage and defects present at the time of pur-
chase must be reported immediately after unpacking,
but no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty
period shall be subject to charge.

Prior to use, check the device for visible
external damage. Do not operate a
device that has been damaged or
dropped.
Do not make any unauthorised modifi -
cations or alterations to the device.
Repairs to the device during the warranty
period may only be carried out by a
customer service department authorised
by the manufacturer. Otherwise no
warranty claims can be considered for
subsequent damage.
Do not place the appliance in locations
that are subject to direct sunlight Other-
wise it may overheat and be irreparably
damaged.
Bear in mind that using the appliance
reduces the motor vehicle battery charge
level if the engine is not running. If the
battery charge drops too low, the bat-
tery will no longer be able to start the
engine.
Connect the appliance to a 12 V car
cigarette lighter socket only using the
supplied cable.
Do not use the appliance if the supplied
power cable or the appliance itself is
damaged. Have damaged cables
replaced immediately by Customer
Service to prevent risks.
Never open the device. There are no
user-serviceable elements inside.
Protect the device from moisture, spray
and dripping water and penetration by
liquids.
Never submerse the appliance in water.
Clean the appliance housing only with
a lightly moistened cloth and a mild
detergent.
Be careful when drinking out of the
thermo mug; the contents could be hot.
Only grasp the thermo mug by the
handle.
Ensure the thermo mug is securely placed
so that it cannot tip over due to the mo-
tion of the vehicle and will not distract
you while driving.
While driving, keep the lid on the mug
so that the contents cannot slosh out.
Never attempt to heat the mug's contents
using an external heat source.

Never leave the thermo mug unattended
as long as it is connected to the power
source.
Never operate the thermo mug without
contents.
Never fi ll the thermo mug with carbon-
ated drinks as this could lead to a pres-
sure build-up.

Handling and operation
NOTE
Clean the thermo mug with a slightly damp cloth
before fi rst use and if it has not been used for
an extended period.
Open the lid 2 and add the drink or food that
you wish to keep warm.
Replace the lid 2 and close the drink opening 1,
if necessary, by pushing the catch 3 over the
opening 1.
Connect the 12 V connection socket 4 via the
supplied connection cable 5 to a 12 V vehicle
cigarette lighter.
Consult the motor vehicle operating manual to fi nd
out in which positions the ignition supplies voltage
to the cigarette lighter.
Move the ignition switch to the required position.
As soon as the cigarette lighter is supplying volt-
age, the operating LED 6 lights up red and the
thermo mug starts to heat up.
Place the thermo mug in a suitable cup holder in
the vehicle.
To take food or drink from the thermo mug, open
either the lid 2 or the lockable drink opening 1.
Always disconnect the thermo mug from the power
source if there is no drink inside.
You can also use the thermo mug to keep drinks
cold. To do this, you must disconnect the thermo
mug from the power source.
When exiting the vehicle, make sure that you
disconnect the appliance from the battery power
supply otherwise the battery could become too
weak to start the engine.
