Before placing your hand in the aquarium water,
ensure that all electrical appliances in the water
have been switched off at the mains.
The mains cable g of the device cannot be re-
placed. If the cable of the heater and glass tube is
damaged the device should not be used any longer.
In case the heater is defective or does not heat pro-
perly, do not try to open or repair it. In this case
please contact our customer service.
ttention: Electric Shock Hazard
For your own safety we recommend that you al-low
the mains cable to form a drip loop h which ensu-
res that water running along the cable cannot drip
into the mains socket. If a multiple socket is used
this must be placed above the mains connection of
the thermostatic aquarium heater.
This equipment can be used by children above the
age of 8 or by persons with reduced physical, men-
tal or sensory capacities or a lack of experience or
knowledge, provided they are supervised or have
received instruction in the safe use of the equipment
and therefore understand the risks involved. Do not
allow children to play with this equipment. Do not
allow children to clean or con-duct user maintenan-
ce without supervision.
Risk of burning: • Never switch on the hea-
ter outside the aquarium • Do not handle or
touch the heater inside the heating area •
Switch off the heater before removing it
from the water and let it cool down in the
water • fter removing the heater put it on a
non-flammable, heat resistant surface (no
paper, cloth etc.)
Risk of overheating: Water level must never be be-
low minimum mark c on the housing. Max. im-
mersion depth 0.5 m.
Do not operate the heater with an additional clock
timer or an additional control system.
Do not dispose of this product as normal house-hold
waste. Take it to your local refuse collection side.
The product is certified as an aquarium heater as
per the respective local rules and regulations and
complies with EU norms.
