Doorbell connection
Plug the transmitter into a conve-
nient mains socket. Plug the door-
bell microphone lead into the
respective socket at the back of
the transmitter. Lay the cable to
the door chime and attach the
microphone to the door chime by
peeling off the paper circle to reve-
al the sticky ring beneath.
For optimal operation of the trans-
mitter the sensitivity may be adju-
sted so that only the doorbell acti-
vates the transmitter and not bak-
kground noise.
Setting the sensitivity
1. Set the sensitivity controller
to its lowest level (turn to
the anticlockwise to stop)
2. Activate the doorbell and
gradually increase the sensi-
tivity of the transmitter (by
turning the dial clockwise)
until the transmitter reacts
to the doorbell.
3. If your intercom system
operates with different sig-
nal tones, make sure that
both signal tones are
reliably detected.
Important note
All lisa devices connected to the
mains supply have a low power
consumption which may lead to
the device feeling warm. This is
normal and does not interfere with

the normal function of the devices.
These signalling systems have a
high operational safety. Should any
faults occur in spite of proper
installation and use, please contact
your dealer.
High and low voltage spikes (e.g.
during a thunderstorm) can occur
on the mains supply. The lisa devi-
ces have an integrated electronic
controller which may stop working
after these conditions. If this hap-
pens simply unplug each of the
devices and plug them in again.
As a precaution remove all devices
from their sockets during a thun-
derstorm.
The use of halogen lamps or other
equipment (e.g. Microwave Ovens)
may, in rare cases, interfere with
the lisa signals. In these cases the
use of mains filters or suppressors
is advisable. Please ask your dea-
ler.
Maintenance and care
All lisa devices are maintenance
free. To clean, remove from their
mains sockets and wipe over with
a moistened cloth. Never use alco-
hol, thinner or other organic mate-
rials.
lisa devices should not be exposed
to excessive direct sunlight, heat,
thick dust, humidity or mechanical
shock.
