17. Maintenance and Cleaning
Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a specialist/specialist workshop. The product
contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, never open/disassemble it.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not apply too much pressure to the display; this can cause scratch marks or
failures of the display.
Dust can easily be removed with a long-hair, soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Never use any aggressive cleansing agents or other chemical solvents since this
may damage the surface of the casing or even impair operation.
Use the included special brush to clean the inside of the transparency unit. For this, slide the
flat side of the special brush into the film scanner carefully from the right (soft side down) and
move it back and forth carefully to remove dust particles.
