c) Main Menu


After switching on the slide/film scanner, the main menu is displayed for about 5
seconds. Then the display goes into scanning mode automatically.
To get back into the main menu from scanning mode, press the "OK" button briefly.

1) Scanning mode
After selecting this function with the arrows (icon highlighted in colour), press the "OK" button.
You will get into scanning mode, see chapter 9. Now you can read/digitise the inserted slides
or negative films.
2) Playback mode
After selecting this function with the arrows (icon highlighted in colour), press the "OK" button.
You will get into playback mode, see chapter 10. Now you can display, rotate, invert or delete
the read/digitised images. You may also display a slide show on the integrated screen. See
chapter 10.
3) Select film type (slide, colour negative, black/white negative)
The correct film type must be set before reading/digitising slides or negative films; see chapter
11.
4) USB mode
If USB mode is activated, the USB connection can be used to read the internal memory or the
inserted SD memory card from a computer. This requires that the slide/film scanner is
connected to a computer's USB port. See chapter 12.
5) Setting mode
In this mode, the video output can be switched between PAL and NTSC and the inserted
memory card can be formatted, see chapter 13.
