2. Insert the negatives
The negative should be inserted so that the numbers on top of the negative strip increase from
the left to the right.
When inserting the negative holder into the slide/film scanner, observe that the
negative holder is always inserted into the slide/film scanner from the right.
Never insert it into the slide/film scanner from the left, because this will damage the
dust protection caps.
Do not pull the holder out of the slot to the right! The holder can only be pushed
through the slide/film scanner in one direction, from the right to the left. Do not exert
any force!
The negative holder must be moved manually; there is no transport mechanism in
the film scanner.
Insert the negative holder in the slide/film scanner in the correct orientation; the
arrow on the negative holder must be on top and point towards the insert.
1. Open the negative holder.
3. Close the negative holder carefully.
