2) Format SD memory card/internal memory
Usually, you do not have to format an SD memory card or the internal memory of the slide/film
scanner - it is also comfortably possible via the computer.
However, if you want to quickly delete all the images on the SD memory card or the internal
memory, you may use the format function for this.
All data is lost when an SD memory card or the internal memory is formatted.
Observe that writing protection must be switched off in case of a SD memory card
(slider on the side of the SD memory card); otherwise, formatting will not work.
After selecting the format function with the arrow,
press the "OK" button. The display shown on the right
appears.
To start formatting, select the upper checkmark icon
with the arrows and press "OK".
If the format function was called by accident, select
the lower icon and press "OK" to return to the main
menu (see chapter 8. c).
