Turning ON the Power

Headphone

Headphone connectors are on
the bottom of the main unit.
Connect the AC POWER ADAPTER.
Insert DC plug of the AC adapter into the piano and
AC plug of the AC adapter into a household AC
power outlet.
See 'Connecting the pedal cord and AC adapter' on page 7
.
Turn on POWER
Press the STANDBY/ON switch. The power is turned
on and the initial display appears in the Multi
Function Display.
The voice of Grand Piano is selected automatically.
Adjust the volume by using MASTER VOLUME.
Auto Power O
This digital piano is designed to turn o automatically to save
power without operation for 30 min.
Disable Auto Power O
While holding down both lowest white and black keys, press the
STANDBY/ON button to turn on piano without APO.
Turn o POWER
Press and hold the STANDBY/ON switch for 3
seconds.
All lights and the LED display will turn o .
Backing Up the recorded song
Even if the power is turned o , the recorded song memory is
not deleted.
Connect a set of stereo headphones(optional) to
HEADPHONE jack (standard 1/4" phone jacks).
Insert the headphone plug into the HEADPHONE
jack on the bottom panel of the piano.
When headphones are connected, the internal
speaker system is automatically shut o .
Since the piano has two HEADPHONE jacks, two
sets of headphones can be used simultaneously,
allowing two people to enjoy listening to the
performance.
