Inserting and changing the battery in the remote control

Before you can work with the remote control, you need to insert a lithium battery.
To change the battery, proceed as follows:
• Turn the remote control around.
• Press the plastic latch towards the center and pull the bat-
tery holder out of the remote control.
• Insert a new lithium button cell type CR2025 into the hol-
der observing the right polarity. The plus pole of the bat-
tery points upwards.
Slide the battery holder back into the casing until it snaps into
place.
Do not leave flat batteries in the appliance.
Even batteries protected against leaking can corrode and thus release chemicals
which may be detrimental to your health or damage the appliance.
Remove the batteries if the device is not used for longer periods of time to prevent lea-
king.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause alkali burns if they come in contact with the
skin. It is therefore advisable to use suitable protective gloves.
Make sure that the batteries are not short-circuited. Do not throw batteries into fire!
Batteries may not be recharged. There could be danger of explosion.
Do not leave batteries lying around carelessly. They could be swallowed by children or
pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

Remote control

In the following, we will explain the function of the remote control. Each press changes the correspon-
ding function. When operating the remote control, direct it towards the IR receiver spot on the right mir-
ror side of the rearview mirror.
On/off button: monitor can be turned on and off.
Button for switching the video source
(CVBS1 = AV1/CVBS2 = AV2)
Button for accessing the monitor setting functions.
Button for changing the parameters (reduction)
Button for changing the parameters (increase)
Button for setting the image format (16:9 or 4:3)
