CAUTION: Before connecting the camera cables to a voltmeter or multi meter, determine which rear lamp wire is negative or positive.
Each vehicle's cabling can differ. Please read the manufacturer's operating instructions for further information.
1.
Determine positive and negative wire. Most vehicles have two wires with differing colours: BLACK for negative and RED for positive.
2.
Disconnect the car battery before moving on to the next step.
3.
Use the Scotchlok® connectors to connect the camera's RED wire with the rear lamp's positive wire . If required, use pliers to press the
Scotchlok® connector together to obtain a good connection.
4.
Connect the camera's BLACK wire with the rear lamp's negative wire. Connect wires securely with Scotchlok® connectors.
5.
Secure wires with cable ties or duct tape.
CHECK POINT:
At this point, you can check whether you have connected the wires correctly, by:
-
connecting the battery again
-
turning the ignition key in the ignition lock to first position.
-
locking the handbrake
-
putting the vehicle into reverse gear
-
pressing the monitor's ON/OFF button.

A) Insert the existing cable for tapping.
B) Insert the corresponding cable for connection.
C) Crimp connector with pliers.
D) Finally, lock manually.

6.2.1. Installing the monitor
A MOUNTING ON THE DASHBOARD
1.
Screw on the monitor securely at the rear of the monitor.
2.
Clean surface of dashboard where you want to mount the monitor.
3.
Remove adhesive tape cover from monitor stand bottom.
4.
Stick monitor stand with adhesive tape at bottom of stand onto the dashboard.
5.
To increase viewing angle, adjust stand accordingly.
B MOUNTING AT SUN VISOR AND BACKSEAT
C MOUNTING AT VENTILATION OUTLET
D MOUNTING WITH VACUUM ARM
1.
Slide the suction cup of the vacuum arm mount into the corresponding opening at the back of the
monitor.
2.
Attach the suction cup at a suitable location (even and flat) by pressing.
3.
Adjust the monitor's position as desired.
CAUTION: These mounting options are solely for purposes of illustration. It is possible that not all options are suitable for each vehicle
type. Please contact your vehicle manufacturer for any questions regarding mounting and selecting mounting locations, to avoid
interference with the security of other systems or devices in your car. Also, observe the valid vehicle safety regulations.
1. Slide mounting strip onto back of monitor.
2. Fasten the monitor with the strips onto the sun visor.
3. Fasten the monitor with the strips onto the headrest.

Slide clamps for ventilation outlets as shown onto back of monitor
and fasten.
2.
By turning the centre ring, the desired viewing angle can be
selected. Turn clockwise to release.
3.
Slide the clamp carefully into the ventilation outlet to mount the
monitor.
