• The battery clamps must NOT be short-circuited when the battery
charger is plugged into the mains outlet.
• The battery charger must NOT be plugged into the mains outlet when
switching the battery on/off.
• DO NOT start the engine when the battery charger is connected to the
battery.
• DO NOT connect the battery charger to the battery when the engine is
running.
• DO NOT charge damaged, broken or frozen batteries. If the battery
acid (electrolyte) is frozen, take the battery into the warmth to thaw it
properly before charging.
• DO NOT use the battery charger if the charger, power cord or plug has
suffered any damage.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, ALWAYS disconnect the battery
charger plug from the mains outlet before undertaking any mainte-
nance or cleaning.
• When the battery charger is not in use, keep it dry and out of the reach
of children.
• Children must not play with this product.
• Use only accessories intended for the product.
• The product must not be modified or rebuilt.
