2.4 GHz Digital-Radio-Camera
Item no. 75 18 01
Intended use
This 2.4 GHz colour camera together with the corresponding 2.4 GHz radio receiver is inten-
ded for installation in, and protection of, secluded or critical areas (e.g. surveillance of stores,
intercommunication systems, entrances and so on).
The camera is suitable for outdoor use (IP44). The transformer provided is only intended for
use in dry indoor locations.
The picture and sound transmission to the receiver is wireless at a frequency of 2.4 GHz.
The camera operates by means of the outlet plug that is part of the delivery.
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera without their
knowledge and consent.
Operating the product in any other way than described above is not permitted and may lead
to damage to the product, which can give rise to risks such as short circuit, fire and electric
shock. The product must not be modified or converted. Always observe the safety instructions
included in these operating guidelines. Please read the operating manual carefully and keep
it for further reference.

Explanation of the Symbols
The lightening symbol in a triangle is used to alert you to potential risks of personal
injury, such as electric shock.
This symbol, with an exclamation mark in a triangle, indicates particular dangers
associated with handling, functioning or operating.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage! Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal
injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions.
The warranty will be void in such cases.
• The camera and the power unit must not be modifi ed or converted, as not only the
CE certifi cation will become void but the warranty as well.
• The camera and the transformer should not be exposed to extreme temperature,
direct sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• Where the devices are used while connected to other devices, e.g. a suitable radio
receiver, the operating instructions and safety notices of the devices connected
must be followed.
• The use of this surveillance camera in connection with a suitable radio receiver
does not replace the personal supervision of children, or people who require spe-
cial assistance, but only serves as a support to this supervision.
• If the device is not installed and operated in accordance with these instructions, it
can cause radio interference. If the wireless camera system causes interference to
other equipment, try one or more of the following measures listed below, in order
to restore normal operation:
- Change the position of the camera.
- Increase the distance between the effected device and the wireless camera,
or between the radio receiver and the wireless camera.
- Select another transmission channel.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the camera and the transformer require some
time to stabilise, in order to adjust to the new surrounding temperature, before they
can be used.

The camera has IR LEDs for illumination in darkness. Please observe that in dark-
ness, the image is monochrome. Furthermore, there is an opening at the lower left
front - it contains the microphone.
Wait until the product has reached room temperature, before use.
• The product is not a toy: keep it away from children.
• The power supply unit conforms to protection class II. It may only be plugged into a
standard household mains socket.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic fi lm/bags etc.
can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• Never plug in, or remove, the power unit with wet hands.
• Never pull on the power cable; only unplug it at the power outlet.
• In the event of a thunderstorm, unplug the power supply unit for safety reasons.
• A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
- the device shows visible signs of damage,
- the device no longer functions and
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
• The accident prevention regulations of the association of compensation insurers
must be followed when using all electrical devices and equipment in commercial
locations.
• The camera is suitable for outdoor use (IP44). The transformer provided is only
intended for use in dry indoor locations.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualifi ed specia-
list or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please contact
our technical service department or another specialist.
