d) Exterior unit: Free standing/installation outdoors
Install the exterior unit in a suitable place. It has to be even, robust and sufficiently large. Of
course, furthermore attention needs to be paid that the rain can fall unrestricted into the
opening for rainwater. The place of installation has to be selected in a way so that no leaves
can fall into the opening for rainwater.
When choosing an installation site, also think about theft protection and playing children.

The exterior unit has to be set up in a way that the rainwater that is coming out
can drain off easily.
The bottom part of the exterior unit can be screwed on in a suitable place, if so desired (e.g.
on a canopy, a carport or something similar).
To do this, the top part of the bottom part has to be removed by twisting the two parts against
each other (note alignment of holding brackets).
Afterwards the bottom part can be fixed with two screws to the surface.
