7. Installation

The housing of the temperature sensor can be installed at almost any desired
location, indoors or outdoors. The housing is damp-proof, but it must not be
located under water. Avoid strong vibrations (eg on a motor or similar).
The sensor itself (the thick part at the end of the 1.5m cable) can also be located
in water (eg to measure the temperature of a pond or aquarium).
If you would like to screw on the housing, the corresponding holes are in the
bottom part of the housing (A):
Make sure that you do not damage any electric cables, water or
gas pipes when drilling or tightening screws, lethal danger!
Of course you can also simply put the housing in suitable place, use doublesided
tape or cable ties.
The sensor itself can also be installed or fixed with sticky tape, cable tie or a
bracket.
The cable between housing and sensor must not be kinked or
damaged in any way.
