c) Testing the model

Once you have turned on the remote control and connected the battery, the model is ready for use. Switch on the
receiver on the model. The motor should stay switched off.
If the motor turns on, disconnect the battery and establish the cause of the problem.
Check the forward throttle. Move the throttle on the remote control
(fig. 2, position A) to gradually adjust the speed of the model. The more
you pull the trigger (fig. 4), the faster the propellers will turn. Use the
dual rate control (TH D/R, see fig. 5, position 12) to change the speed
settings. 0 is the lowest and 10 is the highest speed.
If the propellers do not turn properly, disconnect the battery
and establish the cause of the problem.
If the motor only starts when the trigger is pushed forwards,
use the throttle reverse switch (TH N/R) to reverse the
direction of the throttle.

The direction of travel is controlled with the steering wheel (see fig. 2, position B, and fig. 3).

Caution!
Only a small amount of pressure needs to be applied to the steering wheel (e.g. using your fingertips). Do
not attempt to turn the steering wheel beyond the end position, as this may destroy the internal components.
