Alarm function

Setting the Alarm Time
The device must be in normal time display, with the colon between the
hours and the minutes flashing.
• Briefly press „MODE" twice. The display changes from the time to the date display
and then to the alarm time (the colon between hour and minute display no longer
blinks).
• Keep „MODE" depressed for more than 2 seconds until the display of the alarm
hours blinks.
• Set the hours with „SET".
• Briefly press „MODE" to confirm your setting and the alarm minutes display blinks.
• Set the minutes with „SET".
• Briefly press „MODE" three times; the device leaves setup mode and returns to the
normal time display.
If you keep the button„SET" depressed while setting a value, the values
move faster.
If you do not press a button for some time when setting the alarm time, the
device leaves setup mode, saves the settings and returns to the normal
time display.
Activating/deactivating the alarm function
The device must be in normal time display, with the colon between the
hours and the minutes flashing.
• Briefly press „MODE" twice. The display changes from the time to the date display
and then to the alarm time (the colon between hour and minute display no longer
blinks).
• Briefly press „SET" to activate/deactivate the alarm function (when this is activat-
ed, a bell icon appears to the left of the time display).
Stopping the alarm
If the alarm is triggered at the set alarm time, you can stop it by briefly pressing any
button. The alarm will sound the next day again at the set time.
Countdown timer
Setting the countdown timer
The timer function performs a countdown of the previously set timer time to zero.
A beep sounds when the timer time has expired.
The device must be in normal time display, with the colon between the
hours and the minutes flashing.
• Press „MODE" briefly three times; the display changes form the time display to the
date, then to the alarm time and then to the countdown timer display (an hourglass
appears on the top left of the display).
• Keep „MODE" depressed for more than 2 seconds until the display of the first timer
value blinks.
• Set the first minute value with „SET".
• Briefly press „MODE" to confirm your setting and the display for the second minute
value blinks.
• Set the second minute value with „SET".
• Briefly press „MODE" to confirm your setting and the display for the first second val-
ue blinks.
• Set the first second value with „SET".
• Briefly press „MODE" to confirm your setting and the display for the second second
value blinks.
• Set the second second value with „SET".
• Briefly press „MODE" and the device leaves setup mode.
If you keep the button„SET" depressed while setting a value, the values
move faster.
If you do not press a button for some time, the device leaves setup mode,
saves the settings and returns to the normal countdown time display.
Starting/stopping the timer
The product must be in countdown timer mode, the hourglass is displayed
to the left next to the timer time.
• By briefly pressing the button „SET" , the countdown timer is started (the hourglass
icon blinks) or stopped (the hourglass icon does not blink).
• If the countdown timer has expired, a beep sounds, which you can stop by briefly
pressing any button.

Temperature function

Temperature units (°C/°F)
Briefly press „°C/°F" to switch between the temperature display in degrees Celsius
(°C) or degrees Fahrenheit (°F).
Display of the MIN/MAX values
Press the button „MAX/MIN/RESET" briefly several times to switch between the dis-
play of the maximum values („MAX" on the display), the minimum values („MIN" on
the display) and the current temperature values.
If the device displays the MIN/MAX values and you do not press any but-
ton, it automatically returns to the display of the current temperature val-
ues after a short time.
Deleting the MIN/MAX values
Keep the button „MAX/MIN/RESET" depressed for approx. two seconds.
The MIN/MAX values are deleted.
The values are also deleted when changing the battery.
Maintenance, cleaning and service instructions
The device is maintenance-free apart from changing the batteries, therefore you
should never open it. If you do open it, the warranty will be rendered null and void. The
outside of the device should be cleaned with a clean dry cloth or brush only. Do not
use abrasive cleaning agents or chemical solutions which could damage the housing
or the display or impair operation.
Disposal
Dispose of the device in accordance with the valid statutory regulations once
it has become unusable.
Disposal of flat batteries/rechargeable batteries
You, as the end user, are legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all
used batteries and accumulators. Disposal in the household waste is pro-
hibited! Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing hazardous
substances are marked with symbols indicating that disposal in the
household waste is prohibited. The symbols for the critical heavy metals
are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. You can return flat
batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to the collection points in your
community, our branches or anywhere else where batteries or rechargeable
batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the protec-
tion of the environment!
