n Hold the power tool with one hand and
rotate the chuck with the other hand.
– To open the chuck, rotate it counter-
clockwise.
– To close the chuck, rotate it clockwise.
n Insert tools.
n Close the chuck fully.
n Carry out a test run to check that the tool
is clamped in the centre.
Tool holder (ALi 10,8 S)
Note
¼" screwdriver bits and ¼" bit holders
are held securely in the chuck.
n Insert tool into the tool holder.
n Pull tool lock forwards and press in the
tool all the way.
n Release tool lock.
n To remove the tool, pull tool lock
backwards.
Torque preselection (ALi 10.8)
n Set torque preselection to the required
level:
– 1–11: Screw position
– : Drill position
Notes
– The friction clutch is deactivated
in the drill position
– At the correct setting the tool stops
as soon as the screw has been
screwed in flush.

Direction of rotation

Caution!
Do not change direction of rotation until
the power tool is at a standstill.
n Set switch for selecting direction
of rotation to the required position:
– Left: counter-clockwise
(unscrew screws)
– Right: clockwise (drilling, inserting
screws)
– Middle: Starting lockout (tool change,
for all work on the power tool)
