4. Safety Instructions
The warranty will lapse for damage due to non-compliance with these operating instructions. We shall not be liable for
any consequential damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non-compliance
with the safety instructions. Any claim to warranty will lapse in such cases!
The following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of your health but also for the protection of the device.
Please read through the following points attentively:
a) General
For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorized conversion and/or modifications to the product are not permitted. Moreover, the
warranty will lapse in such cases.
The device is not a toy and has no place in the hands of children.
The plug-in charging set is constructed according to protection class II. As source of voltage only a correct mains socket (230V~/
50Hz) of the public supply system may be used.
The product (cordless screwdriver, plug-in charging set) may not become damp or wet. This can both cause risk of destroying the
product and risk of a fatal electric shock!
If the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. for transport reasons), it is possible that condensation water develops.
This water could damage the product. Additionally, the plug-in charging set can cause a fatal electric shock!
Therefore, allow the complete product to reach room temperature before using it or before connecting the plug-in charging set to
the mains voltage. This may take several hours.
Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, into the direct vicinity of the product.
Liquids could seep into the interior of the housing and in doing so impair the electrical safety. Apart from that there is the greatest
risk of a fire or a fatal electric shock!
In such a case, switch off the belonging mains socket (e.g. switch off automatic fuse) and pull the plug-in charging set out of the
mains socket; take the accumulator out of the cordless screwdriver. Then, the product may not be operated any longer, bring it to
a specialist workshop.
Do not place open sources of fire such as burning candles on the device or in its vicinity.
Never operate the product in the vicinity of combustible or inflammable liquids or gases, air/gas mixtures (gasoline vapours) or easily
inflammable solids. Sparks can develop if the product is operated, risk of explosion!
Only use the device in a moderate climate, never in a tropical climate.
Never touch the cordless screwdriver and the plug-in charging set with damp or wet hands, because there is risk of a fatal electric
shock in this case!
Do not pull the plug-in charging set out of the mains socket by the cable! Pull the plug-in charging set always out of the mains socket
by the casing (hold it at its left and right sides with your hand and then pull it out).
Do not place objects on the power cable, do not kink it.
If the plug-in charging set is damaged, do not touch it. First of all switch off the mains socket to which the product is connected
(e.g. switch off automatic fuse) and then pull the plug-in charging set carefully out of the mains socket. Then bring the product to a
specialist workshop! The damaged plug charging set may not be repaired, there is grave danger!
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. In the hands of children, plastic foil and/or bags and polystyrene parts etc.
can turn into dangerous toys.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insurance Associations for Electrical Sys-
tems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
In schools, training centers, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product must be supervised by trained personnel in a
responsible manner.

8. Maintenance et nettoyage
L'intérieur du produit ne comporte aucune pièce nécessitant une maintenance de votre part ; par conséquent, ne jamais
l´ouvrir.
Toute maintenance ou réparation et donc l'ouverture du produit est exclusivement réservée à un spécialiste ou un atelier
spécialisé.
Un nettoyage minutieux entretient la capacité de fonctionnement du produit, afin que vous preniez longtemps plaisir à vous en servir. Un bon
artisan veille à l'entretien de ses outils !
Avant le nettoyage, déplacer l'inverseur (4) en position centrale afin que l'entraînement soit verrouillé.
Avant le nettoyage, séparer le chargeur de la tension réseau en le débranchant.
Retirer la poussière avec un pinceau à long poils et un aspirateur.
Pour un nettoyage plus approfondi, utiliser un chiffon sec, propre et non pelucheux qu'il est possible d'humidifier avec de l'eau tiède en cas
d'encrassement plus important. Des produits de nettoyage spéciaux ne sont normalement pas nécessaires !
Veiller à ce qu'aucun liquide ne pénètre à l'intérieur de l'appareil, cela conduirait à une destruction du produit.
Des produits de nettoyage non appropriés peuvent causer des décolorations sur la surface en plastique.
Ne jamais utiliser de produits récurant, d'alcool, d'essence ou d'autres liquides pour le nettoyage !
Après le nettoyage, laisser le produit sécher totalement avant de le remettre en service ! Ceci s'applique tout particulièrement
au chargeur !
9. Elimination des éléments usés
a) Généralités
Afin de préserver, protéger et améliorer la qualité de l'environnement, protéger la santé humaine et utiliser les ressources naturelles
avec prudence et de manière rationnelle, l'utilisateur doit renvoyer tout produit ne pouvant pas subir d'entretien à l'établissement
pertinent conformément à la réglementation statutaire.
Le symbole de la poubelle barrée indique que le produit doit être mis au rebut séparément et non en tant que déchet municipal.
b) Elimination de l'accumulateur
Le consommateur final est légalement tenu (ordonnance relative à l´élimination des piles usagées) de rapporter toutes les piles et
accumulateurs usés, il est interdit de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères !
Les piles et accumulateurs qui contiennent des substances toxiques sont caractérisés par les symboles ci-contre, qui indiquent
l'interdiction de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères. Les désignations pour le métal lourd décisif sont : Cd = Cadmium, Hg =
mercure, Pb = plomb (la désignation se trouve sur l'accumulateur, par exemple sous les pictogrammes de poubelles représentés
à gauche).
Vous pouvez rapporter gratuitement vos piles et accumulateurs usagés aux centres de récupération de votre commune, à nos
succursales ou à tous les points de vente de piles et d'accumulateurs.
Vous répondez ainsi aux obligations légales et contribuez à la protection de l'environnement.
