Straight stitch sewing
Straight stitch patterns should be selected
according to the type of fabric being sewn.
• Select the
straight stitch
or
• Attach all purpose foot (A).
• Adjust the stitch length and
stitch width according to the type
of fabric being sewn.
1. Position the fabric under the presser foot and
lower it. Hold the upper thread and bobbin
thread loosely.
2. Lower the presser foot lever and press
START/STOP button to start sewing.
(When foot control is used, press the pedal.)
Place hand lightly on the fabric while sewing
to guide the fabric.
3. When you reach the end of seam, press the
reverse button to sew 3-4 stitches.
4. Release the reverse button and stop sewing by
pressing the START/STOP button (or releasing
the pressure on foot control.)
5. Raise the presser foot and cut thread.
Zigzag stitch sewing
Your machine can sew zigzag stitches of various
widths and lengths by changing the settings of the
stitch width and stitch length.
• Attach all purpose presser foot (A).
• Select stitch
Zigzag stitches are very good for joining two
pieces of fabrics or overlocking. For joining
knit or stretch fabrics, sew with the left side
of the zigzag stitching along the seam line.
For overlocking, sew with the right side of
the zigzag at the edge of the fabric.
Satin stitching or applique
You can sew a satin stitch with the zigzag stitch by
shortening the stitch length.
Free arm sewing
By simply removing the extension table, machine
becomes a free arm machine making hard to reach
areas readily accessible.

Point droit
Sélecteur de points :
Le point droit est celui que l'on utilise le plus
fréquemment et qui est le plus simple à coudre.
Régler la longueur du point en fonc-
tion du tissu. Cette machine à deux po-
sitions d'aguille pour le point droit.
Point zigzag surfilage
Ce point est utilisé le plus fréquemment lors de la
réalisation d'un ouvrage. Ce sur jet évite, que les
bords du tissu ne s'effilochent . Piquez de façon à
ce que l'aiguille perce le tissu près du bord d'un
côté et pique dans le vide de l'autre.
Avec ce point vous pouvez sur jeter les bords
effilochés.

Utilisation du bras libre
Cette machine peut s'utiliser aussi bien sous
la forme d'une base plane que celle d'un bras
libre. En conservant la table de rallonge en place,
vous disposez d'une grande table de travail.
En éliminant la table de rallonge, vous vous trouvez
en face d'un bras libre profond,
facilitant la couture des vêtements d'enfants,
jambes de pantalon, emmanchures, etc.
Enlevez la table en la tirant vers la gauche. Pour
la remettre en place, la faire glisser le long du
bras libre, jusqu'à ce que les deux guides de
fixation rentrent dans les trous prévus à cet effet.

Geradstich
Geradstiche werden für das Nähen von einfachen
ou
Säumen verwendet. Für das einfache Nähen
gibt es zwei Grundstiche:
Wählen Sie einen Stich aus.
Setzen Sie den richtigen Nähfuß ein.
1. Legen Sie den Stoff unter den Nähfuß, führen
Sie den Faden unter den Nähfuß und ziehen
Sie ca. 5 cm Faden zur Rückseite der Maschine.
2. Senken Sie den Nähfußhebel ab. Betätigen
Sie langsam das Fußpedal oder drücken
Sie auf die Taste Start/Stopp.
3. Am Ende des Säumes drücken Sie die Taste
Rückwärts um Rückwärtsstiche zu nähen.
4. Lösen Sie die Taste Rückwärts und nehmen
Sie den Fuß vom Fußpedal oder betätigen
Sie einmal die Taste Start/Stopp.
5. Heben Sie den Nähfußhebel an. Ziehen Sie
den Stoff zur linken Seite der Maschine und
führen Sie dann die Fäden durch den
Fadenabschneider, um sie abzuschneiden.
Zickzackstich
Die Zickzackstich kann für topstitchs und normale
Zickzackheftungen benutzt werden. Für obere
Heftungen mit Zickzackheftung, setzen Sie das
Gewebe in der Mitte unter den nähenden Fuß,
wenn die Nadel auf dem links ist, es einsteigt in
das Material, und wenn die Nadel auf dem Recht
ist, geht es über den Rand wechselnd hinaus.
Freiarmfunktion
Das Nähen mit Freiarm ist praktisch, wenn Sie
röhrenförmige oder schwer zugängliche Stellen
nähen müssen. Für den Umbau Ihrer Maschine
zur Freiarmmaschine nehmen Sie einfach
das Zubehörfach heraus.
