8. Maintenance and Cleaning

This product does not have any serviceable parts. Therefore you will never need to
open up the docking station or power cable.
To clean the docking station, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Clean the docking station very carefully, you may otherwise scratch it. Do not use
any aggressive cleaning agents.

9. Disposal

a) General information

Electric and electronic products do not belong to the household
waste.
Please dispose of the unserviceable device according to the relevant
statutory regulations.

b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batter-
ies/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the sym-
bols shown to the left. These symbols also indicate that disposal of
these batteries in the household waste is prohibited. The designa-
tions for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mer-
cury, Pb = lead.
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cell batteries
free of charge at the official collection points of your community, in our
stores, or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cell batteries
are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the
environment!
