Operation

• Select the operation mode using the sliding switch
"OFF" The bird scarer is turned off, the LED goes out.
"PIR" This operation mode should only be used if the area to be monitored is directly
in front of the bird scarer. Otherwise, the alarm is not triggered by smaller birds
that are farther away!
The PIR movement sensor is active. If it detects a temperature change in the
detection range, the alarm is triggered for a few seconds (or as long as the
movement continues in the detection range).
The red LED on the front panel lights up continuously.
"AUTO" This operation mode is ideal for protecting larger areas.
The PIR movement sensor is turned off. Instead, the bird scarer emits the
alarm at an adjustable interval (setting on the "TIME INTERVAL" rotary knob,
5 - 30 minutes).
The LED fl ashes slowly.

The bird scarer is disabled automatically at night by an inbuilt brightness sensor.
• Volume control
The desired volume can be set using the "VOLUME" knob. Turning clockwise increases the
volume, turning anticlockwise lowers it.
• Set the time interval in the "AUTO" operation mode
If the sliding switch is set to the "AUTO" position, the desired time interval for activating the
bird scarer's loudspeaker can be set using the "TIME INTERVAL" knob. Turning clockwise
lengthens the time interval, turning anticlockwise shortens it.
A time interval of about 5 - 30 minutes can be set.

In the "PIR" operation mode, the "TIME INTERVAL" knob has no function.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The product requires no servicing on your part apart from occasional cleaning. Repair or main-
tenance work must be carried out by a specialist.
Clean the product with a soft, clean, dry cloth. For heavier soiling, you can moisten the cloth
with lukewarm water.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions since these might damage the
surface of the casing or impair the operation. Do not press too hard on the lens of the PIR
movement sensor!
Never spray a water hose or pressure washer on the product; this can lead to water penetrating
the product, thereby destroying it and voiding the warranty!
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
